Meet your therapist

My story begins in Greece, where I was born and raised. I always wanted to understand and help people, and myself and I was really interested from a young age in Psychology.
I built a strong academic foundation with my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education and Philosophy with specialization in Psychology. I went on to complete my Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the American College of Greece, deepening my understanding of trauma and therapeutic approaches.
Life then brought me to the United States, where my personal and professional journey took significant turns. While building my own family – getting married and having two children – I also faced my own battle with Complex PTSD. (After experiencing multiple misdiagnoses throughout my life and diagnosed in my early 30’s with C-PTSD). I then discovered the transformative power of counseling and hypnotherapy in my healing journey.
My professional path in the United States began with intensive work in crisis intervention. I served as a counselor at the Milwaukee County House of Corrections, worked with the Milwaukee County Crisis Response Team in the community, and supported individuals through the National Suicide Hotline. Each role deepened my understanding of trauma and strengthened my commitment to healing work.
These experiences, combined with my own healing journey, led me to pursue specialized certification in Brain-Based Hypnotherapy. Today, as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, I integrate multiple evidence-based approaches in my practice, including:
- Brain-Based Hypnotherapy
- Polyvagal Theory-Informed Treatment
- Parts Work
- Mindfulness Practices
- Somatic Techniques
Now, through my private practice, Brain Elixir Hypnotherapy, I offer worldwide services including:
- Live Video Therapy Sessions
- Live Chat Support
- Clinical Hypnotherapy Sessions
While my counseling license is specific to Wisconsin, my hypnotherapy certification allows me to work with clients globally.
I am currently on the Community Advisory Board of the “Healing and CPTSD Foundation”, advocating for greater understanding and support for trauma survivors.
My practice focuses on supporting parents who, like me, are working to break generational cycles of trauma while raising their own families. I combine my academic knowledge, professional training, and personal experience with C-PTSD to provide comprehensive support for healing and growth.
Thank you for being here.
