Q: How often will we meet? A: Most clients start with weekly sessions. As you progress, we might adjust to biweekly or monthly sessions. We’ll create a schedule that works best for your needs and healing journey.
Q: Do you prescribe medication? A: No, I don’t prescribe medication.
About Hypnotherapy
Q: Is hypnotherapy safe? A: Yes! You remain aware and in control throughout the session. Think of it as a focused, relaxed state – like being absorbed in a good book. You can emerge from this state at any time.
Q: Will I remember what happens during hypnotherapy? A: Yes, you’ll remember everything. You’re not “going under” or losing consciousness – you’re in a state of focused awareness.
Q: How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need? A: This varies by individual and goal. Some people experience significant shifts in 3-6 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term work. We’ll discuss your specific needs and create a plan together.
About CPTSD & Trauma Work
Q: What is CPTSD? A: Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) typically results from ongoing traumatic experiences, especially in childhood. It can affect relationships, self-image, emotion regulation, and more. Unlike single-incident PTSD, CPTSD involves repeated trauma over time.
Q: I’m worried about being triggered during sessions. How do you handle this? A: Safety is our top priority. We’ll move at your pace and establish grounding techniques before diving into any challenging material. You’re always in control.

Q: What are your rates? A: $130 live video session,$100 live chat session, $150 hypnotherapy per hour.
Q: Do you accept insurance? A:I currently accept Aetna, Cigna, Anthem BCBS Wisconsin, Carelon, Ascension (Smart Health) and Quest.
Online Therapy
Q: Is online therapy as effective as in-person? A: Yes! Research shows online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy. Many clients find it more comfortable and convenient.
Q: What technology do I need? A: You’ll need a reliable internet connection and a private space where you can talk freely. For video sessions, you’ll need a device with a camera and microphone.For hypnotherapy it would be great if you had headphones on.
Q: What if I have technical problems during a session? A: We’ll establish a backup plan (like phone contact) before starting therapy. If technical issues arise, we’ll switch to our backup method to continue the session.
